The CD player revolutionized the audio market more than 25 years ago. After initial problems with the musicality of digital reproduction, components have come onto the market in recent years that can now be used to achieve a tone color resolution of unprecedented quality.

Experience and knowledge gained from the development and production of our famous other hi-fi CD players have been taken into account when designing the MPLA +. In contrast to the RESTEK EPOS + CD player, the MPLA + has a drawer system. In conjunction with the compact housing known from the other hi-fi devices of the M series, the MPLA + can also be used in spatially limited environments.

The core of the MPLA + CD player is sophisticated converter electronics. As in the digital radios of the M series, a high-quality sample rate converter and a high-quality 24-bit 192 kS multibit digital-to-analog converter enable a large number of bit resolutions and conversion rates in order to achieve the highest possible level of sound resolution. The music playback of the MPLA + CD player not only has a stupendous fine resolution. The sound always stays warm and analog.

Using the volume control, which can be switched on and off, the signal can be attenuated down to -99 dB in 1 dB steps.

The low output resistance of 50 ohms and the maximum current of up to 35 mA rms of the driver stages enable on the one hand a correct line adaptation and on the other hand the use of sometimes unavoidable long connection cables between the CD player and the preamplifier or the power amplifiers without the music signal the cable is compromised.

All parts of the electronics of the MPLA + CD player are DC-coupled, making it possible to transmit even the lowest frequencies. This means that even in the lower frequency spectrum, transmission is distortion-free and phase-locked.
There are no capacitors or electrolytic capacitors in the signal path that could cause corruption. Noise and crosstalk are barely measurable with the best equipment, but in no way audible.

The claim to ease of use and functionality is realized through the ability to operate all special functions using the remote control or a single button. This multifunction button is the central control unit on the device itself. By turning it left and right, the drawer can be opened and closed, and playback can also be started and stopped. With the help of the integrated pressure contact, many functions of the device can be set and controlled through a menu structure. Similar to a confirmation button on the computer, changed values ​​in the respective menu item are confirmed by pressing.
