The power supply is a very important part of the audio path and significantly contributes to the sonic quality of an audio product. With the new Power Box RS2 Amp you can connect your Amp Box RS2 and benefit from the perfect power contribution.

The switchable 35V and 45V output allow you to make your own choice for operating the Amp Box RS2: We recommend 35V – especially for 4-ohm loudspeakers – to run the Amp Box RS2 more energy efficiently. This will result in lower power consumption and lower heat build-up. This is also ideal if you place the Amp Box RS2 in closed furniture with little airflow or ventilation. Choosing 45V will increase the power output of the Amp Box RS2 by up to 25%. However, make sure the Amp Box RS2 and Power Box RS2 Amp are placed in a well-ventilated area with good airflow to be able to fully enjoy all that extra power.

The Amp Box RS2 has safety measures built-in, so if you are unsure about airflow, know that the Amp Box RS2 will shut down automatically to prevent any heat damage.

A linear power supply consists of a massive toroidal transformer, which avoids penetration of interferences from mains into the audio component. The built-in transformer has a much higher power reserve compared to the standard power adapter. It has very low output impedance and in combination with large filtration capability it can easily manage all power needs. Sound staging, darkness of silent backgrounds and small detail resolution will improve strongly and contribute to a far better overall performance of each component.
