Description

Professional sound, entry-level price
The Behringer Xenyx X2222 USB mixing console, which boasts 22 inputs, line-level stereo inputs, and an integrated USB audio interface, delivers a professional sound at a convincing entry-level price. Eight state-of-the-art Xenyx microphone preamps provide extremely high headroom, while two independently switchable FX processors with 16 effect presets allow for high-quality signal processing. The attribute "neoclassic British" used by manufacturer Behringer perfectly describes the sound of the onboard three-band equaliser, which faithfully reproduces the warm Rock & Roll sound of the legendary British consoles made in the 1960s and 1970s.

Integrated FX processor and external effects
The Behringer Xenyx X2222 USB makes a convincing case thanks to its premium-quality Xenyx mic preamps, which offer an impressive dynamic range of 130dB and process audio signals within a frequency range that goes from an ultra-low 10Hz to an impressively high 200kHz. The 24-bit FX processors with 16 editable presets that include reverb, delay, modulation effects, pitch shifter, and numerous multi-effects, allow a wide variety of sounds to be created. Finding the perfect timing for time-critical effects is child's play with the integrated tap function. The Xenyx X2222 USB also features channel inserts for all mono channels and three AUX sends per channel with pre-faders and post-faders, and thus allows external effects to be integrated.

For beginners and advanced musicians alike
The Behringer Xenyx X2222 USB offers amateur musicians a whole bunch of professional features and functions at a comparatively low price. The mixing console's intuitive design and user-friendly interface make it particularly easy for beginners to make their first forays into mixing – especially in the home studio, where the built-in audio interface will unveil its full potential. The Xenyx X2222 USB, which weighs in at just under 4.8kg and comes with a 19" rack mount kit, is most securely transported in a matching case or, more casually, in a padded bag, both of which can be purchased separately.

About Behringer
The company, which was founded in Germany by Uli Behringer and now manufactures its products in China, has been known for affordable and great-value equipment since its very first product, the Studio Exciter F. An array of mixing consoles (such as the Eurodesk MX8000), signal processors, and later sound amplification and monitoring equipment, has made it possible for countless musicians to fit out their home studios, practice rooms, and mobile PAs within budget limits that were previously unthinkable. The acquisition of other companies, including Midas, Klark Teknik, and TC Electronic, meant that new product groups were added - and also resulted in the technical expertise of these companies being incorporated into product development.

For home studio, rehearsal room, and live gigs
Each channel of the Behringer Xenyx X2222 USB comes with a designated peak LED light and mute switch that allow users to get the most out of each individual channel, and the main outputs feature balanced XLR sockets that prevent the quality of the outgoing signals from deteriorating in just about every setup - whether it's in a home studio, the rehearsal room, or a live gig, even if very long cables are used. Its user-friendly interface and ability to simultaneously process signals from multiple instruments and sound machines make the Xenyx X2222 USB mixing console eminently suited to studio use as well as an excellent solution for mixing songs for bands in a rehearsal room. And thanks to its two subgroups with separate external outputs, the versatile Behringer Xenyx X2222 USB can also be used for monitoring or audio recording purposes both on stage and in the rehearsal room.
