Coming directly from Lynx project, the Constellation Cygnus exploits a floor standing design to increase low frequency radiation by adding a dedicated subwoofer at the bottom of the cabinet. Slim and gently back slanted it perfectly stands in any living room, offering to the listener both a detailed reproduction and a powerful low frequency range.

The valuable solid wood of the cabinet sides together with the HDF supporting frame make the whole structure to be virtually motionless, allowing a recognizable sturdy front stage during any demanding low frequency / high level musical passages.

It is the first floorstanding system of “K” Series, practically the enhancement of Lynx “K” by adding a proprietary NRS™ subwoofer. The 3-way design while lowering the frequency response down to 50 Hz relieves the Woofer-Mid driver from intermodulation distortion. Practical effects are easily recognized up to 1000 Hz where the listener experiences more details and higher dynamics due to the reduced listening fatigue. For a Home Theater set up using Cygnus “K” as front speakers there is a good match with Phoenix “K” as center speaker and Lynx “K” as surround speakers. Because both subwoofer and Woofer-Mid come from the Lynx “K” design, Cygnus “K” performs at its best within listening rooms whose volume is not more than 50 m3 while can be safely driven by 50-120 Watt(rms) / 4 Ohm* power amplifiers.
